A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Principal Safety Engineer to join an independent consultancy leading the field in the provision of consulting services and technical recruitment to the defence, transportation, marine and energy sectors globally.

From offices in UK, Netherlands, France and Libya, our client’s flexible approach allows them to deliver the highest quality services to major international corporations, government bodies and small to medium-sized enterprises alike.

As Principal Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing safety case support to nuclear decommissioning sites.

Qualified to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of Hazard identification (HAZOP, HAZID. FMEA), radiological consequence analysis and safety case support/writing within the nuclear industry.

Ideally, you will also have experience of risk assessment, probabilistic safety assessment, safety management systems and cost benefit analysis (CBA) and ALARP studies.

Experience of consultancy would also be desirable.
